Busy day weeding, mowing, and transplanting a few lettuce and cabbage with the help of new wwoofers. The fields are slowly drying and by the weekend, they will be hoeable. Dry enough to till will take awhile longer. Meanwhile, I will deny water to one row of tomatoes to encourage turning red. The onions are growing quickly and the garlic is probably a dry down away from harvest. The swallows are raising their second brood. 16 bags out tomorrow with broccoli or cabbage, beans, cucumbers, squash, a green of some sort and ?
