Diary 1/23/14
The hellebores
are perking up for their big show in between all the other plants that are sleeping through the cold and low light. Last year they bloomed for months. I am seeing small signs of the days lengthening. Yesterday was 52 here and today is supposed to be even nicer. Grass is growing and buds are forming at the tips of trees and bushes.
