Diary 7/26/11

I am looking hard for red on the tomatoes.  This weekend is supposed to be hot and the evenings in the 60's. Just what the gardener ordered for ripening. The plants and fruit are good looking, but green.  New crop of cucumbers look so lush compared to the worn vines I have been picking from (not pictured here, too sad). Weeds are gone, the cover crop is planted with a seeder row by row..  Good thing for wwoofers!
